The most brutal Challenge so far

Lights on the bike are blinking. Lots of chatter in the dark. Brave souls getting their gear on to attempt the Everesting Challenge. One man was filled with excitement and hope. PURPOSE Everesting Challenge 2020

In celebration of this year’s Malaysia Merdeka Day, we created an Everesting Challenge to climb the elevation of Mt. Everest (8,848m) on our bicycles. Led by SEA Games athlete and our community manager Ziq Junaidy, he led the charge to complete the target of 98 laps (1 lap = 2.2km with 92m ascent gain) of about 210km. We launched a six-week brick training series, PFBRICK, to help participants train for the Powerman Malaysia duathlon race that was originally scheduled for 15 March. Led by Malaysian SEA Games athlete Ziq Junaidy, who planned the training for each week, we had run-bike-run and bike-run sessions. It was a very exciting weekend for us as we officially launched our all-new PURPOSE Running PRO Performance collection at the new KHcycle at ECP’s Cyclist Park. PURPOSE headed to Bintan for the annual Ironman 70.3 race that was held on 25 August 2019. Sharing a booth with PURE, we were at the race expo with some of our trisuits and cycling kits.
