Two parts to the review: 1)sales process & 2)suit itself.
1) Truly surprised at how fast the suit got delivered from sgp to hk (36hrs from purchase on Sunday). Thanks to Purpose’s subsidized dhl express delivery service. I had a couple of questions about the suit when I tried it on. Huz was my contact point, after trying to reach them via email/insta. Huz helped as fast as possible, with the lockdown still in effect. 5 stars for team purpose.
2) Quite surprised at how open the mesh is for the top of the suit. I guess that translates into the breathability. I got the S size, following the size guide, but I might have better in the M (EndureIQ website has a more accurate size guide IMO). Leg grippers are comfortable. On the down side, I felt immediately some roughness from the seams in the arms area. Possible abrasion area. After taking off the suit, I checked the seams. One of the seams connecting the arm to the body wasn’t sewn flat, resulting in a twist at the end. This was the issue I had to check with Purpose, and Huz helped to verify that all suits were like that, plus no one else had that feedback before. No other choice but for me to test it in a swim, and a swimrun event. Swimming, not much of a bother when swimming. The rough feeling goes away. During my 4hr swimrun, I had slapped copius amounts of vaseline around seams area. Turns out there wasn’t any abrasion going out. Swimming was fine, running was fine. Finally UV protection is there despite the mesh. My arms do show a difference between the suit covered areas and not covered.
